Police identified a suspect Monday in a string of robberies – some of them at gunpoint – in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
A group of high school football players has been linked to a rash of armed robberies, targeting businesses in the Lakewood, New Jersey area.
Yonkers police on Thursday were investigating two gunpoint robberies that occurred within a period of 15 minutes earlier this week, which police said were related.

The string of robberies has taken place all on East 170 Street, where the suspect has robbed four commercial establishments in three months, according to police.
