Police: Man Who Faked His Own Death Has Now Been Impersonating A Cop

A man who recently pleaded guilty to faking his own death was in trouble again this week – this time for impersonating a police officer and trying to kidnap women in Nassau County.

NYPD Officer Accused In Monstrous Plot To Kidnap, Cook Women

Gilberto Valle, 28, is a married, six-year veteran of the force assigned to the 26th Precinct. He is accused of planning to kidnap, cook and eat — as many as 100 women. Investigators said his meticulous plan included the intentional torture of his victims.

Cops: Kidnapper Tried To Grab 11-Year-Old Girl In Manhattan

‘Hero’ Bronx School Helper Stops Attempted Kidnapping Of 6-Year-Old

John Velasquez said he saw the suspect, described as a man in his 50′s with a thick grey and white beard and mustache, grabbing the boy in front of P.S. 160 in the Bronx and intervened because he had a “gut feeling.”

Sketch Released Of Man Wanted In Attempted Kidnapping In The Bronx

The incident happened Friday morning around 7 a.m. The suspect, a man in his 50′s, approached a 6-year-old boy in front of 4140 Hutchinson River Parkway and told him to come with him to his house.
