Avonte Oquendo’s Brother Thanks New Yorkers For Support, Efforts In Search

The brother of Avonte Oquendo thanked the people of New York City Friday for their tireless efforts to find the autistic teen, whose body was found in the water in Queens in January.

DNA Shows Washed Up Remains Match Autistic Teen Avonte Oquendo

Oquendo, 14, was last seen leaving his Long Island City school on Oct. 4. He suffered a severe form of autism and was unable to communicate verbally.

Police Search For Autistic Teen Who Vanished In Yonkers

As the mystery continued in the search for Avonte Oquendo Wednesday night, police in Yonkers reported that another autistic teen was also missing.
