Serb Basketball Player Starts Serving Sentence

Kovacevic was sentenced by a Belgrade court in November for severely beating fellow Binghamton University student Bryan Steinhauer of Brooklyn in May 2008 during a barroom brawl.

Miladin Kovacevic, 23, was sentenced to two years and three months in jail for beating a fellow Binghamton University student into a coma.
