After Sunday’s shutout loss to the previously winless Carolina Panthers, no one can argue that Big Blue hasn’t earned its position at the bottom of the NFC East standings. After all, the G-men allowed the Panthers to set a team record with seven sacks of Eli Manning. Panthers quarterback tossed three touchdown passes as Carolina thoroughly embarrassed New York 38-0.
Andre Brown’s ability to create something of a power running game on Sunday opened up the passing game for Eli Manning to have a 500-yard day. He needs to do it again on Thursday.
