It happened around 1 a.m. and sent water gushing onto the street at the intersection of Greenwich Street and Clarkson Street.
Repair crews have been on the scene since the main broke around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, flooding Fifth Avenue between 13th and 14th streets.
United Water says the 12 inch water main broke on Route 17 South between Midland Avenue and Ridgewood Avenue.
It happened around midnight on Kinderkamack Road and Main Street.
A 48 inch main was capped just before 7 a.m. after it ruptured in Scotch Plains near the intersection of Birch Street and Portland Avenue around 4:30 a.m.
A 12-inch water main dating back to the 1800s burst at the corner of West Broadway and Murray streets around 3 a.m. The main flooded the street and the Chambers Street subway station.
