Saturday Marks One-Year Anniversary Of Leandra’s Law

Saturday was a bittersweet anniversary in New York, as it marked one full year since the passage of Leandra’s Law. The bill was named for a child killed while riding in the care of a drunk driver.

NYC Mom Gets Prison For Fatal DWI Crash

A mother will spend four to 12 years in prison for drunkenly driving a station wagon full of children and crashing, killing one of them, as they headed to a slumber party.
