Thousands of people lined up for hours outside of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, many of them trying to get a glimpse of the animals that were being blessed.

Christmas services are taking place all over the region. For Christians, the true meaning Christmas isn’t about the gifts, but for celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
