Sgt. 1st Class Nadir Nassry met with authorities Monday morning and was released a short time later, according to his attorney.
Sgt. 1st Class Nadir Nassry and Trooper Joseph Ventrella are charged with tampering with public records. They’re accused of using tape to change their license plates before escorting the cars at high speeds down the Garden State Parkway in March.
Attorney Charles Sciarra said he believes State Police Sgt. Nadir Nassry faces charges related to the alleged taping of license plates on the sports cars during the March 30 caravan.
New Jersey’s top cop met with his top commanders and the state’s attorney general Wednesday to discuss allegations of high-speed police escorts for sports cars on the Garden State Parkway.
