When a Long Island woman spotted a little girl playing by herself in a park last week her maternal instincts kicked in.

L.I. Day Care Center Has License Suspended, Revoked After Girl Allegedly Left Behind On Beach

The suspension bars the center from providing any form of licensed day care services. The center has 10 days to request a hearing to contest the suspension and 30 days to contest the revocation.
