Connecticut Senate race
Connecticut fans of World Wrestling Entertainment say Republican U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon’s ties to the company won’t guarantee their votes on Election Day.
The Connecticut Senate candidates are facing off in another televised debate. The two candidates, Republican Linda McMahon and Democrat Richard Blumenthal, participated in two face-to-face debates last week.
Brown rallied support Saturday for McMahon, a Republican newcomer best known as the former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment.
The two candidates for the state’s open U.S. Senate seat took aim at each other’s recent TV ads in their first face-to-face debate on Monday.
