A Bronx man was arrested and charged Thursday, after authorities allegedly found 124 counterfeit Super Bowl tickets.
Authorities say most of the knockoffs were manufactured overseas. They say once the makers learned the Broncos and Seahawks made the Super Bowl, they rushed to make the goods with the teams’ logos. Then the goods were smuggled into the U.S. using overnight shipping.
Three men have been arrested for allegedly selling fake tickets to New York Giants games, and a renewed call has been issued to be careful where you buy.
