Tigers’ Delmon Young Suspended 7 Days For Alleged Hate-Filled Rant In Midtown

The commissioner’s office said the suspension is retroactive to Friday, when Young was arrested after a late-night tussle at his Midtown hotel during which police say he yelled anti-Semitic epithets.

Detroit Tigers left fielder Delmon Young was arrested Friday on a hate crime harassment charge after police said he got into a fight with a group of men and yelled anti-Semitic epithets.
