6 Educators Killed In Newtown Massacre Awarded Medals Of Honor

The Congressional Medal of Honor Society said it chose the slain educators to receive its Citizen Honors Medal, the highest award it gives to a civilian, after receiving dozens of nominations for their actions during the shooting.

Sandy Hook Fund To Distribute $4 Million To Families

The foundation handling the largest charitable fund set up following the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre said Tuesday that it will begin distributing $4 million of that money right away, responding to criticism that it was moving too slowly.
