A bill pending in the City Council would require 10 percent of the 160 health agents to wear some type of body camera when they inspect restaurants and bars.
People are once again lined up outside the Dominique Ansel Bakery in Soho just days after the world famous bake shop was closed by the Department of Health.
A Dominique Ansel spokeswoman said the Soho bakery was approved by the city Board of Health for reopening after an intense a three-hour inspection.
The Dominique Ansel bakery, which brought you the “cronut” and the milk and cookie shot, was shut down by the Department of Health on Friday for several sanitary violations, including a severe mouse infestation.
Dominique Ansel, who has a bakery in SoHo, has recently introduced milk shots — a cookie shaped as a shot glass with a chocolate coating on the inside, filled with organic chilled milk.
