Anthony Weiner is officially joining the ranks of the unemployed. The disgraced New York congressman’s resignation letter, submitted Monday, states he will leave office at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.

Of all the groups reported to be bidding on the Mets, one name stands out. Doug Ellin, creator of HBO’s “Entourage.” And according to the Daily News, Ellin “will enlist actors Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Ed Burns” if the sale goes his way.
