Park Rangers On The Lookout After Box Turtle Escapes From Inwood Park

A neighborhood-wide turtle hunt has been initiated for an eastern box turtle that made a daring escape from the Inwood Hill Park Nature Center on Thursday.

Suffolk County SPCA Offers Reward After Someone Hammers A Nail Through Turtle

The animal protection group said it found an Eastern Box Turtle with a 10 penny nail driven through it on July 5.

SPCA: Nail Driven Through Turtle Found At Sag Harbor

The Suffolk County SPCA says they found an Eastern Box Turtle with a 10 penny nail driven through it on July 5 at Sag Harbor and is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
