Religious Schools Call On New York State Lawmakers To Approve Tax Credits

Charter schools and pre-kindergarten are getting funding in the recently approved state budget. But tax credits that would have benefited private schools with up to $150 million a year have so far been denied.

Dolan Rallies In Support Of Tax Credit Proposal For Education Donations

Those donating to public schools, school districts, teacher projects and scholarships would be eligible for the Education Investment Tax Credit under the proposal. The cardinal said the governor is on board.
