A 25-year-old Queens man has been charged in what was the first homicide of 2013 in New York City.

Suspect Sought In New York City’s First Homicide Of 2013

Elzina Brown, 59, was found shot in the chest just before 1 p.m. Thursday at 1790 Story Avenue in the Bronx, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
