‘Game Of Thrones’ Leads 66th Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations

The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced early Thursday morning. HBO’s “Game of Thrones” led the pack with 19 bids, including best drama series.

CBS Honored With 53 Primetime Emmy Nominations

The most Emmy nominations, 17, went to “American Horror Story: Asylum.” Close behind was “Game of Thrones” with 16 nods, while “Saturday Night Live” and the Liberace biopic “Behind the Candelabra” earned 15 nominations each.

‘Mad Men,’ ‘American Horror Story’ Lead Emmy Nominations

Other leading nominees include the elegant British-born soap opera “Downton Abbey,” which earned 16 bids, and two miniseries, “Hatfields & McCoys,” with 16, and “Hemingway & Gellhorn” with 15.
