Rep. Rangel: I Have Not Been Treated Fairly

The 80-year-old Democrat from Harlem wants his punishment for ethics violations downgraded to a reprimand, according to congressional and nongovernment sources in touch with Rangel.

Rep. Rangel, Supporters Respond To House Ethics Trial

Rangel posted a message on his Twitter page saying he was “disappointed at the decision of the ethics committee.” Supporters in Harlem also came out Sunday to defend the congressman.
