The state child welfare agency and local police went to the Carneys Point home of Shawn Moore on March 14 following what police said were anonymous calls expressing concern about the safety of a child.

New Jersey Family Says State Overreacted To Boy’s Gun Photo On Facebook

A New Jersey family claims a Facebook photo of their son holding a rifle his father gave him for his upcoming 11th birthday led the state’s child welfare agency to their home, demanding to be let inside and inspect their guns.
