Straphangers are on high alert after a series of robberies on the F train line in Queens.
Coming just days after a subway train derailment, another broken rail was discovered on the “F” line Tuesday, and the MTA told 1010 WINS broken rails happen all the time.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said some work will continue after the station reopens, but it will not affect service.
Service changes are underway on several subway lines through the weekend.
From now until Monday, April 16, there is no Manhattan-bound service on the E and F lines between Parsons Boulevard and 71st Avenue in Forest Hills. The Transit Authority says it will make track repairs 24 hours a day until the 16th.
