A man died early Saturday after severely cutting his arm on a glass bottle in Brooklyn.
Amar Diarrassouba, 6, was walking to school with his 9-year-old brother when he was struck. They were in the First Avenue crosswalk when he was hit by the truck as it turned from East 117th Street, police said.
Neighbors said the couple was apparently out walking their dog Monday night when residents said they heard trees falling.
It was just after 4:30 on Sunday morning when the normally quiet streets of Cliffside Park turned quite chaotic, as bullets were flying around Anderson Avenue.
Police were hoping to question the two after spotting them Monday in the parking lot of a Honda dealership in Westchester. Police suspected the men were trying to steal rims off some of the cars.
Lamar Odom’s hometown visit gets worse by the hour. Odom was “shaken up” after the chauffeured car he was riding in to a Jamaica, Queens barber shop collided Sunday with a motorcyclist and 15-year old pedestrian.
Contributing factors ranged from drunken motorists to cyclists who failed to stop at red lights. Another was drivers who said they didn’t see the bike until it was too late.
