Catholic League President Furious After St. Patrick’s Day Parade Boycotts

The President of the Catholic League this week took issue after Mayor Bill de Blasio declined to march, and sponsors withdrew, from the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade amid a dispute over whether participants can carry pro-gay signs.

New Yorkers Celebrate Same-Sex Marriage Legislation

Activists are calling it a major victory in civil rights as celebrations continue around New York City today after Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a same-sex marriage bill into law.
