A street in Maspeth, Queens was renamed Saturday for George Gibbons Jr., a local bar owner who was killed by a wrong-way driver on the Long Island Expressway two years ago.

Wrong-Way Driver Sentenced In Crash That Killed Beloved Queens Bar Owner

Some 100 family and friends packed the courtroom as Peter Rodriguez was sentenced to 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison for causing a deadly wrong-way crash on the LIE that killed George Gibbons.
