5 Arraigned In Shooting Death Of NYPD Officer Peter Figoski

The alleged gunman, Lamont Pride, appeared in court while being shackled and didn’t speak as he faced the first-degree murder charge. His four co-defendants were also arraigned Tuesday evening.

NYPD Officer Shot And Killed During Burglary In Cypress Hills

Investigators said Officer Peter Figoski, 47, was shot in the face while responding to a break-in just before 2:30 a.m. Monday at an apartment on Pine Street in Cypress Hills.
