Putnam County Man Faces Charges After Allegedly Shooting Canada Goose

Gregory Stefkovic allegedly admitted shooting the goose, saying the geese were leaving too many droppings in the area, making it an issue for the children who play there.

Prosecutor: New Milford Man Charged With Animal Cruelty For Shooting Goose With Arrow

Bail is set at $10,000 for 49-year-old John Hall, who was arrested Wednesday after authorities say he used a crossbow and arrows to shoot and injure a goose at a pond in New Milford.
