N.J. Budget To Award Hospitals $675 Million For Charity Care

The state budget recently proposed by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie would divide $675 million in charity care funds between New Jersey hospitals – roughly the same amount that was allocated during the current fiscal year.

Parts Of Upper West Side To Be Sprayed For West Nile Virus

Parts of Manhattan will be sprayed on Friday to combat the spread of West Nile Virus. The city’s health commissioner said it’s expected that there will be a big jump in the number of people infected with West Nile coming in the next few weeks.
