Pugilist Hector “Macho” Camacho lived his life fast and furious in and out of the ring, and on Saturday morning, a large crowd was expected to fill the streets of East Harlem to remember him.
Camacho was left unconscious and brain-dead after being shot in the face the Tuesday before Thanksgiving while sitting in a car in Puerto Rico.
