The Tri-State area’s most wanted bank robber, the so-called Holiday Bandit, has been picked up in Queens after allegedly pulling off his ninth hold-up Monday, the FBI said.
After striking seven times since December in New York City, it appears the “holiday bandit” has crossed state lines.
Authorities said 35-year-old Marat G. Mikhaylich, entered the Investors Savings Bank on Broadway around 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon and demanded cash while brandishing a firearm.
The “Holiday Bandit” is at it again. NYPD officers spent part of Friday investigating a bank robbery at Capital One Bank, located at 1411 Forest Avenue on Staten Island.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6′ to 6’2″’ tall, about 35-years-old and around 200 lbs.
