Bloomberg To Landlords: Restore Storm-Damaged Services, And Do It Now

Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Monday he has sent letters to landlords, ordering them to restore services damaged by Superstorm Sandy as temperatures drop, and use the city’s Rapid Repair Program if they have not done so.

Far Rockaway Public Housing Residents Still Struggle With Heat, Hot Water

Residents of the Ocean Bay public housing complex in Far Rockaway have been struggling with heat and hot water problems ever since Superstorm Sandy hit nearly three weeks ago.
