Law enforcement officials have released several images of three individuals considered “persons of interest” in the beating death of a homeless man in Hoboken.
Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop said this weekend that when it comes to crime, July has been a “difficult month” for the municipality.
A witness told investigators that the confrontation started when Joseph Walker’s minivan cut off Joseph Harvey’s car on Saturday night, according to court documents.
Cruz Martinez, 41, of Hazelton, Penn. was arrested on Saturday by Pennsylvania authorities on unrelated charges but was later charged by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in the murder of Alisha Colon, 16. He also faces weapons charges.
Authorities say all the weapons obtained through the program will be destroyed.
The mayor of Hoboken says there’s too much partying during their city’s parade day, so they’re moving it to mid-week.
