Officials ID Long Island Kayaker Who Died In Conn.

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said Sunday that Kenneth Wallace of Huntington Station, N.Y., was pronounced dead Saturday night.

Charges Dropped Against Cab Driver Thomas Moroughan Shot During Dispute With L.I. Cops

Thomas Moroughan, 26, was arrested on February 27 in Huntington Station after the two Nassau County police officers said the cab driver confronted them and tried to run one of them over. He was planning to file a lawsuit.

Officials: L.I. Child Had Strep, Not MRSA

The Countrywood Primary Center in the South Huntington district school said that a doctor had initially suspected MRSA “was a distinct possibility,” but tests came back negative.
