NYC’s Haiti Response Praised Ahead Of Quake Anniversary

On Sunday, Mayor Bloomberg said city employees had donated more than $2.2 million to the cause. He also reiterated more needed to be done to aid the recovery.

With Hurricane Tomas bearing down on Haiti, Brooklyn Councilman Mathieu Eugene was making plans for a long range effort to help the people in his native country.
