Mets Split Squads Go 1-0-1 Vs. Nats And Braves

Oliver Perez surrendered back-to-back homers during the Mets’ 7-4 victory over the Washington Nationals. Brooks Conrad hit a two-run homer for the Atlanta Braves and Willie Harris connected for the Mets as the split-squads played to a 3-3 tie.

Michael Morse hit a pair of two-run homers in the late innings and the Washington Nationals won their spring training opener by beating the New York Mets 9-3 on Monday.
