Queens Gun Buyback Event Gets Hundreds Of Weapons Of The Streets

Some of the guns turned included 245 revolvers, 168 semi-automatic pistols and 35 shotguns. An AK 47 and a tec-9 were also turned in.

Parents Who Lost Sons To Gun Violence Speak Out At Gun Buyback In Queens

The buybacks are being held at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jamaica, Queens Saturday. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said the city has collected 7,700 guns since the the city’s buyback program began.
