Police: Plane Wreckage Found Near WTC Site Is Wing Gear

Boeing Co. confirmed the rusted metal part from a Boeing 767 is a trailing edge flap support structure, NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said. It helps secure wing flaps that aid in regulating plane speed.

Victims’ Families View Pretrial Hearings Of Self-Professed 9/11 Mastermind, Plotters

Military installations in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Maryland are welcoming families of 9/11 victims this week to watch pretrial hearings at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for five men charged in the terrorist attacks.

Victims’ Families Invited To Watch 9/11 Mastermind, Plotters Pretrial Hearings

The hearings set to begin Monday are closed to the public, but victims’ families were invited to watch the proceedings via closed-circuit television.
