Rutgers Starts Slowly, Defeats Norfolk State 31-0

Joe Martinek carried 20 times for 109 yards and a touchdown and Tom Savage completed 10 of 19 passes for 148 yards and a score, leading Rutgers to a 31-0 rout of Norfolk State in both schools’ season opener on Thursday night.
