A year after it was closed for renovations, visitors will once again be able to take in the views from the crown of the Statue of Liberty.
It wasn’t a hoax after all. The Coast Guard says they and the FDNY rescued two people from a 60-foot-boat named “Tranquility” that was taking on water.
The accident occurred as the crew apparently tried to hoist something with a crane. The three have been taken for medical treatment. So far there’s no word on their condition.
