New York City Public Advocate Bill de Blasio is urging women to take steps to protect themselves on the subway, in the wake of another groping incident.
A cyclist admits he ran three red lights in Brooklyn, but thinks the ticket for more than $1,500 he received is excessive, according to a published report.
The victim chased the young man who snatched his iPhone when the thief’s accomplice shoved him onto the subway tracks.
Authorities said the incident happened on Feb. 17 around 11:45 p.m. at the Lorimer Street “J” train platform. One of the suspects took an iPhone from an 81-year-old victim and fled.
