A Greenwich Village fortune teller is accused of scamming a desperate single mom that she was an ancient Egyptian princess out of $27,000.
Filmmaker Eric Steel filed the suit in Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday. It asks for $275,000 in damages.
Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance said 23-year-old Jason Quinones will also serve ten years of post-released supervision. Quinones pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
The plan allows livery cabs to pick up passengers in upper Manhattan and anywhere in the four other boroughs. It’s set to begin on Monday.
