Report: Man Accused In Syringe Stabbing Can’t Ride Bus Without Escort

A man accused of stabbing a New York City bus driver with a syringe is now forbidden from getting on a city bus without an escort.

Shelwyn Patt, 53, was arrested aboard a B67 bus Saturday afternoon, just a few feet away from the wanted poster bearing his sketch, police said.

Police Search For Man Accused Of Assaulting MTA Bus Driver With Hot Coffee

According to the MTA, the driver operating the B67 bus asked a man who was getting a cup of coffee to move his car, which was parked near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Prospect Avenue. The driver became irate, according to the MTA, and hurled his hot coffee at the driver.
