Some major credit card companies are warning their customers that their account information may have fallen into the wrong hands. As many as 10 million MasterCard and Visa customers may be victims of the latest big credit card security breach.
An FBI spokesman told 1010 WINS’ Carol D’Auria that search warrants were executed and computers were seized at the homes.
MasterCard Inc., which is based in Purchase, N.Y., said the deal speeds up its strategic goals in the fast-growing prepaid card category with expansion outside the U.S.
