Joshua Berg, Rockland Teen Mauled By Grizzly Bear In Alaska, Recovering

Seven teenagers were nearing the end of a month-long survival course when 17-year-old Berg noticed the mama grizzly. Berg yelled “Bear! Bear!” but it was too late, the bear came charging at him and took him down.

A local teenager is fighting for his life after being mauled in Alaska and he’s not the only victim. Josh Berg of New City was with a group of teens learning survival skills when the grizzly bear attacked.
