A lawsuit filed by opponents of a major expansion of the NYU campus in Greenwich Village has advanced, following a judge’s decision last week, according to a published report.
Administrators said that the university must add new facilities to attract top students and professors, but critics — including faculty members and actor Matthew Broderick — said the planned expansion would damage the quality of life in the Village.
