A funeral mass for 21-year-old Sarah Goode was held at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Medford.
Police on Long Island Tuesday arrested a man in a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist seriously injured.
Police said the medical examiner’s office has identified a woman’s body found in a wooded area in Medford to be that of missing mother Sarah Goode.
Police said the body was discovered “in close proximity” to where missing Goode’s car was found on Sunday.

Sarah P. Goode, 21, was reported missing Sunday. Her sister called police after the family had not heard from Goode in about two days.
Vincent Heilig, 30, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested Wednesday for six home burglaries. Police later determined Heilig was responsible for four other home burglaries in Ronkonkoma and Medford.
