In defense of Nechemya Weberman, his attorney Michael Farkas suggested that the now-17-year-old victim brought charges of sexual abuse against the counselor out of a desire for revenge because she believes he told her father that she had a relationship with a boyfriend, something forbidden in the ultra Orthodox Satmar community.

The renewed search for Etan Patz is continuing this weekend, and so far investigators haven’t found new evidence inside a SoHo building. FBI agents and the NYPD resumed their efforts this morning, looking for any sign of the boy who went missing three decades ago.
