Det. Kenneth Ayala, Officer Injured In Brooklyn Shootout, Released From Hospital

Fellow officers cheered as Det. Kenneth Ayala was released from Lutheran Medical Center. Officers said it was Ayala who saved their lives Saturday night when authorities said 33-year-old Nakwon Foxworth opened fire.

Wild Shootout In Brooklyn Leaves Four Cops Injured

Police got into a wild shootout in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn starting late Saturday night into the wee hours of Sunday morning, reports 1010 WINS’ Glen Shuck.
