Volunteers To Replace Trees Damaged By Tornadoes In Queens

City Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe said Macdonald Park in Forest Hills took a great deal of damage. “It looked like a war had been fought there. All of these beautiful trees had been blown apart in their crowns and were lying all over the place.”
